There's lots of fun stuff to see and do whether or not you've got bikes...

Below is some information on all the fun and/or free events that don't require you to register for a race number.

Watch the Races!

On Saturday take a short walk up into Kirkton Glen to watch the Enduro riders hammering downhill... or, on Sunday come down to the start/finish areas at the hall to cheer on the road + mountain bike x-country racers. 

Camp Out!

Have a Saturday night out,

and come and camp under the stars with your friends and/or famiy at our all rough camping field at Auchleskine farm.

£10 per car/tent.

Portaloos, hose water supply and a river all thrown in!

Sat Night Chill!

Come along to the festival tent at the hall on Saturday evening after 6.30pm for Mhor's famous mobile fish and chips, some live music, a bar and the prize giving for the K-Trail Enduro.

A chance to eat drink and chill before all Sundays antics....

Anchor 1

Big Bike Parade!

Come and join in with the BIG NOISY bike parade - a spectacular wheeled racket. Bring your horns, hooters and claxons for the 500metre long

parade from Balvaig bridge to Kirkton field, led by the pipers and winners float and followed up by wheels of all sizes.

Mellow Pedal!

Yep, a relaxing and chilled ride for anyone who wants to... round all or part of the NAT7 cycle path 12k loop. Go as far and take as long as you like! Visit Mhor84, the Golden Larches or any of the food stops in Strathyre for refreshment along the way.

Race Your Mate...

...head to head! or your mum, dad, brother or sister for that matter. Using our specially designed parallel slalom courses which will be open all day in Kirkton field for FREE Have a practice before the Dual Slalom knockout tournament at 2pm.

Bike Decoration!

Yep your chance to pimp up that ride by decorating your bikes with everything from spangly tassles to tinsel stuff -

What will you do with your bike? All just a whole load of fun for the kids. FREE!

Face Painting!

Tiger, Butterfly... whatever you fancy - FREE face painting in the festival tent on Sunday at the village hall.

Just come along. Lots of materials but, Mums may be asked to help paint!!

Treasure Hunt!

Have a shot at the treasure hunt. Collect a FREE question sheet from the information tent and cycle round the village to answer the clues. All completed sheets go into a draw for the BIG prize!!

Short'n Sweet Race

For the under 8yr olds we have two FREE short 'n sweet" races involving a short run and cycle with a wee bag of sweets for everyone taking part.

Race 1 for pre-schoolers.

Race 2 is for primary pupils up to age 7. 

An ideal chance to let the smallest ones have a shot...

Bike Agility

A real favourite each year, the bike agility course is up all day and open to all U16's to ride at any time. FREE to use.

A simple but challenging course of cones, planks, logs ramps and tunnels.

Aim is to get all the way round as quick as you can without putting a foot down.

MTB Skills Area

Hone your MTB skills in Kirkton field, with:-

1) Track stand tests

2) The bounce tests

3) The wheely + manual test

4) The endo/stoppie test

5) The bunny hop test

With coaches and top riders kicking around grab a few tips and brush up on core trail skills

Tug of War

Come and enter the Tug of War Bonanza. There will be three TUGS to pull in, or cheer on...

TUG 1: i-phone v android users

TUG 2: Horsey ladies v husbands

TUG 3: MTN Bikers v Roadies

ALL FREE... No prizes, just immense kudos! 

Body Zorbing

Suitable for all ages this is a hilarious way to roll down the hill, as fast or slow as you like.

£3 for 10 minutes. 

Weather permitting we may also have a bouncy castle too!

Duathlons

The ever popular sprint duathlon run and ride races move onto grass in Kirkton field this year. Open to absolutely everyone there are categories for all ages:-

Race 1 - Micro Duathlon (U8's)

Race 2 - Mini Duathlon (8-11)

Race 3 - Junior Duathlon (12-16)

Race 4 - Open Duathlon (17-39)

Race 5 - Masters Duathlon (40+)
